Italian Violin by Giordano Rinaldi, Cremona, 2020

This newly crafted Italian violin belongs to the oeuvre of Giordano Rinaldi, a new generation of skilled luthiers from Cremona, Italy.
Giordano Rinaldi graduated at the International School of Violin-making in Cremona, and obtaining the highest possible merit in his final year. For many years he has been dedicated to the reproduction of classical Italian instruments. He has made copies of instruments by Andrea Amati, Nicola Amati, Andrea Guarneri, Francesco Ruggeri, Guarneri del Gesù, Antonio Stradivari, all of which have been particularly appreciated in Singapore, Germany and Japan.
Featuring an antique appearance, the moderate grain of the spruce top explains the outstanding resonant properties. The delicate brownish oil varnish plays up the fine quality of the tone woods, which is evident in the highly flamed one-piece maple back. This violin has a very round and radiant sound , featuring a mature warm and mellow tone which will delight artistically demanding musicians.
